Thermal release valve TA 4

The VdS-approved TA 4 release valve is a release valve that triggers a CO2 bottle when the thermal bulb bursts and releases the containing energy to operate a SHEV system. It can be combined with other control types.

An additional tool is required to tension the actuation needle and thermal bulb. The G5-RWA-68 and G5-RWA-93 thermal bulbs can be used with this valve.

A separately available reset tool is required for commissioning.

The standard CO2 bottle thread is 1/2” UNF. We recommend the use of our CO2 bottels up to 150 g.

The failure of one energy source does not lead to the failure of the other energy source.

Depending on the design of the SHEV system, a ventilation of the pipe network must be ensured.
