The Synchronising Control SYN 22 ensures a synchronous travelling speed of two identical 24 V= actuators on a smoke and heat vent (SHV). It is used on large roof flaps and domelights that have to be opened and closed by two actuators due to their heavy weight. Synchronous travelling of both actuators prevents such flaps/domes from moving unevenly and from distortion. If one of the two actuators fails, the other actuator is automatically switched off at the same moment.
The Synchronising Control is supplied with power via the SHEVS control centre/control and is controlled by it. It therefore only works when a travel command is active. The SYN 22 is suitable for the actuator types G, S, SG1Bx and SG1Cx. It is available with an output current of 8 A per actuator output.
