Multisensor smoke detector RM 3-OT

This VdS-approved optical-thermal smoke detector minimises the susceptibility to false alarms because it also measures the room temperature in addition to photoelectric detection. The detector triggers an alarm if a light scattering by smoke or a certain temperature value or temperature rise is exceeded.

The additional thermal measurement not only minimises false alarms, but also increases the reliability of alarm detection. For example, fires with weak smoke development are reliably detected and reported on the basis of the temperature change.

The detector can be easily and quickly mounted on a base thanks to its quarter-turn fastener. Cleaning of the insect screen is facilitated by the removable cover.
